Prince Charles: Marrying Diana was a “massive mistake”

The British Royal family is at the center of yet another controversy after Prince Charles revealed in a new biography that his marriage to the late Lady Diana was a “massive mistake”.

Prince Charles, the heir to the British throne, married Lady Diana in 1981 at the St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. After 15 years of marriage and a year after Lady Diana passed away, the two got divorced in August 1996.

Written by journalist Robert Jobson, the newly Royal biography entitled “Charles At Seventy: Thoughts, Hopes And Dreams” set to be released on November 1 tells that Prince Charles felt his marriage with Lady Diana was “like a call to duty”.

While it is no secret that Lady Diana initially wanted to back out of the wedding, the future king of England said that he had disappointed the Royal family with his marriage with Lady Diana.

The prince said that he realized their ‘unsuitability’ as a couple whenever he would share things about his day to Lady Diana and she would “just stare blankly at him”.

Moreover, Prince Charles divulged he found it extremely difficult to deal with the lady’s temper and mood swings according to a report by Express UK.

Prince Charles and Lady Diana have two children together, Prince William and Prince Harry.
