A Filipino singer is currently making the rounds on social media after a video of him singing a Regine Velasquez’ hit went viral on Facebook.
Eljay Villafuerte, a student from Candelaria, Quezon, got the attention of social media users after he took on Velasquez’ hit song “Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka”.
According to the news portal KAMI, Villafuerte was a dance rehearsal when he decided to do an impromptu cover of the song while his friends take the video.
Upon hearing his voice, viewers did not believe what they have heard as his voice sounds similar to the Asia’s Songbird.
His version is currently going viral on Facebook and has gained nearly a million views after just a few weeks.
