According to their Instagram account, Godolphin is an international horse racing team founded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The National quoted HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid as saying, “It is not easy to win the Derby but we have won it. This a big race and there is always something special about it. My daughter is here and the horse came from Dubai. I’m very happy. Horses are in my blood. I love horses, and I love racing.”

Masar, who was trained by Charlie Appleby, dominated Britain’s richest horse race after finishing ahead of Dee Ex Bee and Roaring Lion, reported Reuters.

As seen on an Instagram video, HH Sheikh Hamdan can’t help but cheer and exclaim a happy “yes” when Godolphin’s horse won the race.
