A lucky expat in the UAE received an unexpected call from the Dubai Police who told him that he won a brand new car.
Major-General Mohammed Saif Al Zafeen, assistant commander-in-chief of the Dubai Police, called American resident Gregory David Christopher to relay the good news.
Christopher was chosen as one of the winners of the Dubai Police’s white point system, an initiative to reward motorists without any traffic violations for a year.
“How do I know if this is true? This is just too good to be true!” Christopher said in disbelief upon being informed that he won a car.

He added that he found it hard to believe that he won as he considers himself “not a lucky person”.
Reports stated that more than 12,000 motorists did not commit any traffic violations in the UAE last year.
