PAYROLL: How much Filipinos earn 1 to 10 years after college

A person’s salary is rarely discussed among his/her friends or family as it is taboo to even bring that topic into discussion. It is also not polite to ask someone how much they make as it is something that should be kept a secret.

However, even though people rarely talk about their salaries, it is a thought that has crossed everyone’s mind at one point. We’re sure you have thought about how much money your seatmate back in college earns today.

If you are curious yet too shy to ask about a person’s salary, the closest answer you can get is this infographic prepared by JobStreet and Entrepreneur.ph. The graph was based on the averages of self-reported salaries of its users.

For the year 2017, the infographic showed that the top universities which produce the highest paid employees are the University of the Philippines, Mapúa University, University of Santo Tomas, Ateneo de Manila University, and De La Salle University, depending on the level of experience of the employees.

Aside from the top universities, the data also showed top 5 fields of graduates per school, which tell the industry where graduates from each school would land a job.
