Meet the OFW with amazing tattoo skills

Donna Sagudang is not your ordinary overseas Filipino worker (OFW). The artistically inclined 28-year-old OFW from Baguio City is making a name for herself because of her creative tattoo skills.

Based in Hong Kong, Sagudang can be found in Central Park on Hong Kong Island during Sundays where she draws temporary tattoos on her customer’s skin.

Sagudang became an OFW in 2014 and she has been doing tattoos in Hong Kong since then.

Most of her customers are her friends who absolutely love her pen-drawn tattoos. Most of the time, Sagudang’s designs are flowers, butterflies, and calligraphy letters.

“I feel blessed for being able to work in Hong Kong, a city with a lot of opportunities. It has helped me make my dreams come true,” she told Asia Times.

Now, she is trying out new techniques, experimenting with Henna tattoos, and exploring other washable inks.

She also teaches her friends on how to draw and make tattoos through her free classes.

Sagudang, who works as a domestic helper in Hong Kong, is also into photography, painting, and drawing portraits.
