Kapuso actor Paolo Contis said that he is happy with the engagement announcement of his former girlfriend LJ Reyes that she is now engaged with non-showbiz boyfriend Philip Evangelista.
“Of course, I’m very happy for her. She deserves to be happy,” the actor said in a message to GMA News.
LJ announced her engagement on her social media account showing photos of the proposal. She also wrote a bible verse as caption for the proposal.
“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope,” she said.
LJ and Paolo broke up after six years of relationship. They had a daughter named Summer. After the controversial split, LJ flew to New York together with their children.
Paolo on the other hand is now in a relationship with actress Yen Santos.
