Catriona Gray reveals that she decided to be inactive on social media for quite some time now due to a great deal of sad news.
Miss Universe 2018 Gray said that she only posted on Wednesday to check on her followers.
“I know I haven’t been active much on social media lately. It’s just that personally, it’s become a bit much. Not social media alone, but just the news and the numbers,” Gray said.
“It feels like every week, there are condolences being shared on my timeline. Friends losing family. Friends losing friends. Families separated. People feeling isolated and alone fighting battles that seem too great,” she added.
Gray said that she only reached out to her followers to let them know that they are not alone.
“Your feelings and your experiences are VALID. And no matter how big the challenges may seem, there is always hope to be found. God is greater than this and He is on your side,” she said.
Gray’s management Cornerstone recently announced that it has been agreed upon to temporarily stop accepting applicants for the Catriona Gray Academy in partnership with Nas Academy.
Nas Daily creator Nuseir Yassin is in hot waters after the relatives of Kalinga tattoo legend Whang-Od cried foul on the tattoo-making course offered by Nas Academy.
The vlogger’s team defended the deal saying there’s proof that the tattoo artist agreed with the contract.
“Cornerstone Entertainment, Catriona Gray, Nas Academy have agreed to stop accepting new applicants for the Catriona Gray Academy until the issue of Apo Whang-Od has been fully resolved,” the statement said.
Gray also retweeted the statement but did not make further comments.
“NAS Academy is fully committed to working with the NCIP to make sure all proper processes are followed. Cornerstone will continue to monitor the progress of this incident,” the management added.
