“Truly honored to receive the GOLD VISA from this amazing country,” Fade said in a tweet.
“Leaving Australia 12 years ago to try my luck in a city I didn’t know too much about was scary, but as #Dubai and the #UAE does, it makes you feel welcomed, makes you feel safe,” he added.
The star of the eponymous breakfast radio show “The Kris Fade Show” thanked UAE leaders for offering this opportunity.
The long-term residency visa scheme was first introduced in 2019.
This enables foreigners to live, work and study in the UAE without the need of a national sponsor and with 100 percent ownership of their business on the UAE’s mainland.
These visas are issued for 5 or 10 years and will be renewed automatically. (ES)
