Two shows produced by TV5 blocktimer Brightlight Productions aired their final episodes last Sunday, January 17.

In a January 16 statement, Brightlight Productions CEO Albee Benitez, invited the public to watch out for the “season enders” of its Sunday shows — the musical-variety program Sunday Noontime Live or SNL and the gag show Sunday Kada.

“Sunday Noontime Live (SNL)’s delightful run is about to end and we await future endeavors from its outstanding stars and phenomenal newcomers,” Benitez’s statement read per a report by latestchika.com.

“Sunday Kada will explore new locales, exciting locations and more laughs in the near future,” he added.

SNL was headlined by Piolo Pascual, Maja Salvador, Catriona Gray, Jake Ejercito and Ricci Rivero, while Sunday Kada is topbilled by Jayson Gaiza, Wacky Kiray, Maxine Medina, Miles Ocampo, Ritz Azul, Daniel Matsunaga, Badji Mortiz, Josh Colet and Jerome Ponce.

On the other hand, the Beauty Gonzalez-RK Bagatsing series I Got You came to an end last December 10, but Brightlight re-aired its last episode last Sunday purportedly due to audience’s request.

Brightlight’s noontime show Lunch Out Loud (LOL) hosted by Billy Crawford, Bayani Agbayani, Alex Gonzaga and KC Montero, among others. will continue airing on the Kapatid network from Mondays through Saturdays, 12 noon to 2 p.m.

Other Brightlight productions that will continue airing are the Saturday afternoon shows Rated K of veteran broadcaster Korina Sanchez-Roxas and Oh My Dad! of Ian Veneracion and Dimples Romana.

Benitez assured their followers that Brightlight Productions will present new shows in the days to come.

“We are truly grateful for all your support, which inspires us to create new and exciting programs. Brighter days continue as we collaborate with TV5 and our other industry partners. We cannot wait to share news on upcoming shows from your partner in quality entertainment,” Benitez said. (CC)
