Actress and vlogger Alex Gonzaga has revealed on her recent Youtube vlog that she, her family, and fiance have tested positive for the coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
She released her video, “My COVID-19 Journey” three weeks since her last COVID-10 exposure. She also said that she has recovered from the virus and showed her followers her home quarantine activities.
Alex said that she could’ve contracted the virus from someone who dined out and came back with the virus and spread it in her home.

The first people who were diagnosed with the virus were her parents; both of them were asymptomatic.
Alex, however, showed symptoms for the virus including fever, sore throat, loss of appetite, clogged nose, and loss of taste.
“Day 3 of quarantine, I started to realize that we really got COVID and all our family plans and life milestones will be delayed,” Alex said.
Alex and her fiance were set to be married in an intimate ceremony in October.

Alex said that her sister Toni Gonzaga and her family have been tested negative for the virus. She said that she feels better now and happy that her parents did not suffer the symptoms.
“We survived COVID, that is why we are very blessed that we survived it and won. God healed us. I’m very very happy that we are one of the many people who survived COVID as a family,” Alex said.
