Angel Locsin calls out fellow celebrities for staying silent on ABS-CBN franchise denial

Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin called out fellow celebrities for staying silent on the denial of franchise of ABS-CBN.

During the noise barrage in front of the ABS-CBN compound in protest of the rejection of the network’s denial, as well as the massive retrenchment that followed, Locsin criticized famous personalities who have chosen to stay away from politics.

“Sa lahat ng artistang hindi nagsasalita, ano? May career pa ba kayo? Wala na, wala na kayong network,” she said in front of other protesters.

She said that staying silent means choosing to side with the wrong people.

“Kapag hindi tayo nagsalita, ibig sabihin kinampihan natin ang mali,” she said.

Locsin was among those who joined the noise barrage protests in front of ABS-CBN, along with Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, Enchong Dee, and Alex and Toni Gonzaga.
