Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu apologized on social media regarding her confusing remarks regarding ABS-CBN being taken off air under government’s orders.

In an Instagram post, the actress said she was carried away by her emotions regarding the shutdown of ABS-CBN’s broadcast operations, and admitted that when she watched it again, she also got confused by what she said.

The actress made the confusing remark during a Facebook Live session Friday, wherein she and other Kapamilya stars denounced the move to shut down ABS-CBN’s free broadcast operations.

Recently, Chiu went on a session on Facebook Live to discuss the shutdown of ABS-CBN on air, comparing the network’s situation to what happens inside the classroom.

Sa classroom, may batas. Bawal lumabas.

She also talked about how the network provides people jobs to help their families, as well as opportunities to make their dreams come true.

The actress, however, thanked her fans for continuously supporting her amid the criticism.

Thank you for choosing kindness, empathy and compassion! Maraming salamat po,” she wrote in the caption.
