Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz recently went on livestream to reminisce and catch up, where the actress teased the latter about his great love—hinting at singer Sarah Geronimo.
Fans couldn’t help but wonder about the hint Alonzo dropped about who Cruz’s great love was in their exchange at Instagram Live session on the night of April 27.
At the beginning of their catching up, Alonzo urged Cruz to ask her random questions about himself to prove their closeness—such as favorite color and movies.
The two then began to utter memorable lines from their previous projects together, from 2002 series “Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay” to 2007 hit film “One More Chance.”
Cruz suddenly dropped a line from a movie, “A Very Special Love,” a project he starred in with Sarah Geronimo.
Alonzo then said, “Taray. Hindi ako kasama diyan. Ibang pelikula iyan. Nakakabuwisit. Hindi ako ‘yun.”
The actor then teased Alonzo why she was jealous, to which the actress replied, “Hindi no! Wala akong laban dun. GL (great love) ‘yun eh. Anong laban ko dun?”
Cruz laughed, then faintly answered, “Hayop,”
Cruz and Geronimo starred in four hit movies together “A Very Special Love” (2008), “You Changed My Life” (2009), and “It Takes A Man and A Woman” (2013). The singer is now married to Matteo Guidicelli, while the actor now has a child with actress Ellen Adarna.
