Actress Iza Calzado, who survived coronavirus disease (COVID-19), posted a photo from when she was confined for contracting the disease, saying that “every breath is a blessing.”
On her Instagram, she posted a photo of herself in a respirator exactly a month ago—back when she was confined for pneumonia, one of the severe symptoms of COVID-19.
“This was me exactly a month ago. Every breath is a blessing. The Lord has powerful ways, indeed! Grateful for my life today and always. Even more grateful for his instruments of life — our positive spirit and resilience, especially in our frontliners,” she said in her post.

Calzado was hospitalized last month, and on March 28, she confirmed that she tested positive for COVID-19.
On March 30, her camp said that the actress has already recovered from the disease.
