Angel Locsin tells Taguig quarantine violators living in high-end condo: ‘Wag po tayong privileged

Actress Angel Locsin told alleged quarantine violator to follow the rules under the enhanced community quarantine, adding that they should not act privileged about the situation.
In her Instagram post, Locsin—who lives in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig—showed her support for city Mayor Lino Cayetano and the Philippine National Police (PNP) for investigating residents on Pacific Plaza Towers (PPT) in BGC who reportedly violated quarantine rules through gathering in the condominium’s common area.
She added that what the residents allegedly did is just the same as people gathering in much bigger public areas.
“I live in BGC and I support the PNP and Mayor Cayetano. Rules are rules. Walang kaibahan po ang kumpulan sa palengke, pa-sabong sa sementeryo, at pa-bingo sa kalsada sa pagkumpulan ninyo sa swimming pool porke’t may common area sa high end condo ninyo,” she said in her post.
Locsin also pointed out that the condo dwellers should not act privileged because the virus does not have diplomatic immunity.
“‘Wag po tayong privileged. Wala pong diplomatic immunity ang virus. You staying in common areas can harm not only us Filipinos, but also the diplomats in your condominium,” she added.
