After doctor shaming issue in 2019, Yeng Constantino dedicates song to medical frontliners

Kapamilya singer Yeng Constatino has broken her silence on the coronavirus disease or COVID-19 pandemic. In what could be a bold move on her part, Yeng asked for forgiveness again from the medical community.

Yeng said that it took a while before she composed herself so that she can face the medical frontliners once again who are now doing their best in battling the COVID-19 crisis.

The singer added that she wants to dedicate a song to them as a form of encouragement in these difficult times.

Apart from her apology, Yeng said that she wrote a song for all the doctors and nurses and other medical workers on the field. She called her song ‘Kumapit’ and posted the video on her Instagram account.

She admitted that she’s ashamed of coming out in public and dedicating a song to the frontliners.

Yeng became controversial last year when she berated a female doctor in Siargao after an incident involving her husband, Yan Asuncion. She posted a vlog on her Youtube channel calling put the physician.

As the events unfolded, Yeng then apologized for her actions. An arrest warrant was even issued to the singer for violating the Cybercrime Law. She posted bail of Php30,000.00
