Kapamilya actress Iza Calzado is set to come home after she is now found negative for coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
Iza’s manager and friend Noel Ferrer shared on Instagram the good news about the actress’ condition.
“It’s an amazing start of the week as we were just told that Iza can go home tomorrow after completing her IV antibiotics,” Ferrer wrote in a post.
The talent manager said that the newest test results for Iza also showed that she’s now negative for the virus.
“Moreover, the good news is – Iza’s retest results came back, and she is now negative for COVID-19,” he added.
“We would like to thank each and everyone of you for your prayers, love and support especially the doctors, nurses and all the health workers who continuously risk their lives to serve us all at this time,” Ferrer also said.
The talent manager also asked for continuous prayers for the actress and to all those who are battling the disease. Last week, the actress shocked netizens when she showed a photo of her in oxygen respirator and said that she was dealing with a severe case of pneumonia.
Days after, Ferrer confirmed that Calzado tested positive for the virus.
There are now 1,546 cases of COVID-19 in the country. About 78 people have died from the virus while 42 people recovered.
