'Di na mauulit:’ Angel Locsin calls endorsing Koko Pimentel ‘mortal sin’

Actress Angel Locsin on Wednesday apologized for endorsing for Senator Aquilino ‘Koko’ Pimentel III during 2007 elections following the senator’s quarantine breach that earned the ire of the Makati Medical Center management.
Pimentel tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The hospital denounced the solon’s “irresponsible behavior” that put the lives of health workers and other people in danger.
Meanwhile, actress Angel Locsin on Twitter was asked if she regret appearing on a TV ad campaigning for Pimentel.
The actress answered: “Yes. Super. Mortal sin. Patawarin nyo po ako bilang ex-husband po siya ng pinsan ko (referring to her first cousin beauty queen Jewel Lobaton).”
Another fan asked Locsin to swear that she won’t endorse the solon again she said: “Naka-ilang eleksyon na rin naman pong hindi naulit.”
Locsin even replied “Eww” to a netizen who posted a screenshot of the political ad.
