Celebrities speak up on Metro Manila quarantine

Some celebrities have shared their thoughts on the community quarantine imposed in the entire Metro Manila as a precautionary measure against the coronavirus disease or COVID-19 pandemic.
“Pinaka SAFE ka ‘pag nasa loob ka lang ng bahay. Kada labas mo malaki ang chance na makuha mo ang virus. At kada balik mo sa bahay malaki ang chance na magpasok ka ng virus sa loob ng bahay at mapahamak ang mga mahal mo sa buhay. So MANAHIMIK KA SA BAHAY,” Kapamilya host Vice Ganda said in a post.
Anne Curtis, on the other hand, urges cooperation and calmness in the midst of the health crisis.
“Good Morning! During this trying time, I pray that everyone back home is safe. Try to stay calm, read, understand, and cooperate with government updates and instructions. ?? Big hugs to all of you,” she said in a tweet.
“Stay home! Walang lalabas muna! Please lang sumunod kayo,” actor Marco Gumabao wrote.
G-trends Chienna Filomeno calls for the suspension of bills payment for workers who earn daily.
“Pati monthly bills i-cancel na din muna…. hanggat makabalik tayo sa trabaho,” she said.
Metro Manila is now under community quarantine until April 14.
