The mother of former singer Lovely Embuscado, Daisy, seemingly changed her mind after initially agreeing to put the singer in a mental facility.
The singer was allegedly suffering from schizophrenia. She was found living in the streets with her family after several television stints.
“Huhulaan ko, hindi kayang gamutin ng doktor ang sakit ni Lovely, lalo lamang magiging malala. Ako lang ang nakakagamot sa kanya dahil ang kailangan ng tao na may sanib ay pamilya niya, na palagi niyang kausap sa lahat ng oras sa cell phone na may music at headphone at videoke,” Daisy told pep.ph.

The mother insisted that her daughter only needs to sing so that evil things will not haunt her.
“Lumala si Lovely sa kamay ko dahil wala na akong pera na pam-videoke niya. Kailangan niya ng sounds sa tenga para hindi siya ma-possess ng masasamang espiritu,” she added.
Daisy also believed that her daughter is ‘possessed’ and not schizophrenic.

“Possessed po ang sakit ni Lovely, kaya hindi ko po kasalanan kapag lumala ang kalagayan niya sa ospital dahil kailangan niya ng pamilya na nakakaunawa sa kanya. Sana naman, pauwiin na lang ni Krizza si Lovely dahil baka mamatay ang anak ko sa ospital. Gusto ko pang makita na buhay ang anak ko,” she added.
The report later on said that the mother was convinced again that Lovely needs professional and medical help.
