LOOK: Coco Martin prays for officials to have "sound mind and decision" on ABS-CBN's franchise renewal

Kapamilya actor Coco Martin asked for help and prayers for public officials handling the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN to be given a clearer mind and heart to decide on the fate of the network.
The actor, who was among the dozens of artists that attended a rally calling for renewal of the franchise of the television giant, aired his sentiments during an interview with the network’s reporter Jeff Canoy.

“Hindi ko hahayaan na magising na lang ako na yung pinagkaka-utangan ko ng loob, yung pinagkaka-utangan ng mga empleyado ng utang na loob na nagbibigay sa amin ng hanap buhay upang matupad ang aming mga pangarap ay mawala na lang bigla,” he said.
He added that they joined the rally not to sow trouble but to seek help.
“Nandito kami para humingi ng tulong upang ipanalangin na sana ay bigyan ng linaw ng kalooban, ng pag-iisip ang Senate, ang lahat ng mga bumubuo na dapat magbigay ng prangkisa para sa ABS-CBN,” he said.
Martin emphasized that nobody should be barred to say their sentiments and to freely exercise the right to freedom of expression.

Supporters, employees, and other members of sectoral groups and media outlets also joined the rally where they occupied one side of the road along Sgt. Esguerra Avenue in Quezon City where the network is located.
Apart from Martin, other celebrities spotted in the rally were Jericho Rosales, Angel Locsin, John Prats, Shaina Magdayao and Angel Aquino.
They all wore white clothes with the red, blue, and green ribbon pinned on it.

  1. Kasi dyan matatapos ang walang kamatayan na “Ang Probinsyano”. Kung sa teleserye di sya mamatay matay at palaging nabubuhay , sa totoong buhay dyan sa mawawala. Peace.
