Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin couldn’t help but channel the iconic superheroine ‘Darna’ as she lobbies for the renewal of the ABS-CBN franchise.

The actress is among Kapamilya celebrities who actively participate and share their opinions on the petition of Solicitor General Jose Calida to nullify the network’s franchise.

On Wednesday, Locsin shared a photo of the network with a ribbon made of ABS-CBN colors on her Instagram account.

In the caption, she wrote ‘’Ding! ang bato!”—a line that Narda usually says when she needs to transform to Pinay superhero Darna.

Angel is one of the most loved actress who played the iconic role. She first portrayed Darna when she was still with the Kapuso network.

She later on bagged the role again for a movie remake with ABS-CBN but she had to back out from the project because of spine injury.

Last week, Angel paid tribute to the men and women behind the network and how it would affect them should the network close down its operations.

“Isang pakiusap. ‘Think before you click. Mga cameramen, utility, art department, technical department, production, actors, directors, caterers, producers, light men, crew, tents, etc. Mga ilan sa libu-libong tao sa loob ng isang network. Kami po ang ABS-CBN,” she said.
