Some Kapamilya celebrities will also be affected in terms of investments if ABS-CBN shuts down from operations.
In a story published by Pep.ph, a list of top stockholders of the network showed some celebrities from the Kapamilya network as part of the list.
Among top stockholders of the ABS-CBN corporation include singer Jose Mari Chan, he was at 9th place.

“Stocks are bought and sold predominantly on stock exchanges, though there can be private sales as well, and are the foundation of nearly every portfolio. These transactions have to conform to government regulations which are meant to protect investors from fraudulent practices,” according to the site Investopedia.
ABS-CBN Corporation Chairman Carlo Lopez Katigbak is at 13th place while Chief Operating Officer (COO) Socorro “Cory” Vidanes is currently at 14th place.
Laurenti Dyogi is at 16th place, Olivia Lamasan is at 20th spot.

TV Patrol news anchor Noli De Castro is at 25th spot.
Actress Angel Locsin is on the 25th place, while Actor Daniel Padilla is on the 55th spot.
Kris Aquino ranks at 64th, other celebrities who have investments to the network include Aiza “Ice” Seguerra (76), Vic Sotto (77), Angelica Panganiban (79), John Estrada (88), at Kim Chiu (96).
The House of Representatives has yet to tackle the bill granting the ABS-CBN franchise renewal bid.
