Former GMA-7 ‘Protégé’ star, parents now living on streets

Do you remember “The Singing Cinderella” of Tagum, Davao in GMA’s ‘Protégé’ show back in 2011?
Despite her career boom back then, Lovely Embuscado and her parents are now living on the streets.
In a report by Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), it said that they were spotted in a sidewalk in Quezon City.
Lovely’s mother, Daisy, said it has been a week since they have been living there.
She shared that she got into a huge debt that contributed to their living conditions now.
She added that Lovely’s earnings back then was enough only to pay that off.
Lovely was a contestant of the show and was mentored by the Philippines’ ‘Queen of Soul’ Jaya.
Her last project was GMA teleserye “The Half Sisters”.
Now, they don’t even have money to rent a decent home.
To add to that, Daisy emotionally shared her daughter’s current condition.
She said Lovely would ‘talk like a child’ whenever she asks her something.
Entertainment reporter Jojo Gabinete shared a video where Lovely was asked by her mother to sing.
However, she broke down and cried after singing a few lines.

Daisy hopes that somebody will help them out in their condition.
