Eddie Garcia’s wife says GMA mishandled the actor’s body during accident

The wife of the late veteran actor Eddie Garcia, Lilibeth Romero finally spoke about her thoughts on the accident that killed the actor last year.
Romero said that the GMA Network mishandled the body of the actor when it fell to an accident.
Romero testified Garcia’s body was put into a tricycle, but when it did not fit, they carried him like a lechon and waited for a taxi to rescue him.

Romero revealed that the death of Garcia was caused by gross negligence, unsafe working environment.
There is no first aid or emergency personnel during the set of GMA-7.
Romero vowed to cooperate to authorities and lawmakers on crafting bills to ensure protection and safety of television and movie workers.
“Categorically, I state that Eddie Garcia’s death was caused by gross negligence, unsafe working environment, absence of an expert medic, and crowd controller, no standby ambulance. Worse is the handling/mishandling of his body, and worst is trying to fit this 5 feet 11 inches man into a tricycle and when he couldn’t fit into it, carried him like a lechon out to the road and waited for a taxi,” she said.
Garcia died last June 20, 2019 after two weeks of being in a comatose.
