It appears that ‘Jadine’ fans are not the only ones affected by the confirmation that James Reid and Nadine Lustre have parted ways – as even some celebrities were in shock as well.
TV host Robi Domingo posted a video of him playing the song ‘On The Wings Of Love’ in the piano. The song was also the same title of Reid and Lustre’s first major teleserye.
Bianca Gonzales commented on Domingo’s post saying ‘nanadya ka no?’. Iza Calzado and director Antoinette Jadaone also commented a ‘broken hearts’ emoji.
Singer Jed Madela also expressed his sadness on the couple’s breakup, admitting that he is a Jadine fan.
“Awww nalungkot ako when I saw the tweets about Jadine. Was always vocal about being a fan since OTWOL. Ganun ba ako ka-affected na nanonood ako ng OTWOL clips ngayon? Oo… faney din ako,” Madela tweeted.
DJ Chacha, on the other hand ,appealed to those who are spreading speculations on the breakup to give the ex-couple a space.
“Yung totoo mga sist, kayo ba yung nasa relasyon? This is a difficult moment for James and Nadine baka pwedeng tantanan muna natin sila. Pwede yon?” she said.
“It’s true that we have split up, but not for all the reasons that are being spread on the tabloids and social media, but because after quiet and mature conversations, we decided to focus on ourselves not only for our careers but more for our personal growth as we are still young and we want to achieve as much as we can,” the ex-couple said in a joint statement on Tonight with Boy Abunda.
