The Philippines may have lost its bid to win the fifth crown for the Miss Universe 2019 but it recently gained a new queen.
Actress Genesis Canlapan, also known as Patricia Javier, was crowned the Noble Queen of the Universe during its coronation held last Dec. 1 at Manila Hotel.
According a report by GMA News, Javier is the first one to be crowned the international pageant’s highest title after she bested more than 20 candidates from different countries.
In her Instagram post, Javier thanked her family, friends, and her followers for supporting her.
Her husband Dr. Rober Walcher and their two sons were there to watch her win the crown.
Other winners in the pageant were:

– Noble Queen Tourism – Anna Rabtsun Baylosis, Russia
– Noble Queen Earth – Jill Chapman,West Coast USA
– 1st runner-up – Ritchell Catt, Guam
– 2nd runner-up – Sylvia Kim, Korea
