Janella Salvador revealed that Joshua Garcia is ‘doing okay’ after his controversial break up with her friend and young actress Julia Barretto.
Joshua is Janella’s leading man in the hit teleserye ‘The Killer Bride’.
When asked if the actor has already moved on from Julia, Janella told Pep.ph: “Actually, okay naman si Joshua, e. Hindi ko siya nakitaan ng na-depress or whatever. He told me happy naman siyang nag-e-explore sa life by himself. So he’s doing good. Tanungin natin siya kung naka-move on na siya.”
Janella lauded Joshua’s acting skills and she said that their bond as friends gets stronger on the set.
“Sobrang nakakatuwa. I’m actually having so much fun working with Joshua,” Janella said.
“It’s true what they say, napakagaling niya talaga. Nagkaroon na rin kami ng sariling bond, e. Open kami sa isa’t isa. Kapag may problem, nakakausap namin ang isa’t isa,” she said.
Janella however explained that there’s nothing awkward between them even though she’s still friends with Julia.
“Work is work naman, e. I’m still friends with Julia but that doesn’t mean naman hindi kami puwedeng maging friends ni Joshua,” she added.
