Actor and singer Marlo Mortel came to the defense of singer Morissette Amon who has been in hot waters over her controversial walk out during a concert gig last week.
In a press conference, Mortel appealed to those upset about the incident to hear both sides of the story before judging the singer.
“Huwag po natin i-judge si Morisette. Nag-message na rin po ako sa kanya. Ang sabi ko, ‘Huwag ka mag-alala kahit ganito ang nangyayari. Isa ako sa tao na nakakakilala sa iyo ng totoo. Alam ko na mabait ka at ‘yung Morisette na nakilala nila dati, ‘yun pa rin ang Morisette na nakilala nila ngayon,” he told ABS-CBN News.
Marlo said that people go through things differently and he believes that Morissette can make it through.
“Lahat naman ng artista at kahit normal na tao may pinagdadaanan, ‘di ba? So intindihin na lang po natin siya and alam ko na hindi siya nagbago. She said thank you dahil nag-reach out ako and I know that God will guide her. In time, maayos lahat,” Marlo said.m
Morissette has apologized for the walk-out issue saying that personal issues took the best of her. She was seen walking out of a birthday concert last Wednesday where she was the guest performer.
