Charlene Gonzales hospitalized, misses husband Aga’s movie premiere

Former beauty queen Charlene Gonzales has revealed that she is now recovering from laparoscopic appendectomy.

On Instagram, Charlene posted her hospital wristband and noted how she missed the premiere night of her husband Aga Muhlach’s movie, Nuuk.

Their twins (Atasha and Andres) also celebrated their birthdays at the hospital where their mother was confined at — St. Luke’s Medical Center.

“I went in for a check-up for pain in the right lower abdomen, hip area. My blood test were normal but my CT Scan showed otherwise. I had appendicitis and needed immediate surgery the same day to remove my appendix to prevent rupture,” Charlene wrote.

“Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the ‘Nuuk’ premiere, which I was so looking forward to watch. I will watch it during the regular screening,” Charlene added.

The actress said that she is now doing well. “Here’s to a fast and swift recovery,” Gonzales said. (TN)
