Former ‘Unang Hirit’ host Rhea Santos is trying out something new after she moved to Canada this year.
On her recent social media post, Rhea was seen manning a television camera rather than being in front of it.
Rhea is currently studying broadcast and online journalism at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
“There’s still so much to learn. Sabi nga ni @susan_enriquez, we’ll get there!” Rhea said on her Instagram account. Rhea and Kapuso news reporter and anchor Susan Enriquez used to work together on the Kapuso morning show.
Rhea moved to Canada this year after working with GMA for 19 years.
She first appeared in UH in 2001 and was reassigned to the evening newscast ‘Frontpage’ as segment host in 2003.
She became a host for the now-defunct public affairs shows ‘At Your Service Star Power’ and ‘Pinoy Abroad’ that features the lives of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
Rhea also opened her vlog on YouTube called “Your Morning Girl Rhea.”
