Vlogger Alex Diaz has decided to take some time off and leave the Philippines following his revelation about his sexuality and to ‘reassess’ his life.
Alex said in an Instagram post that he has yet to explain what happened that led to his recent actions.
But for now, Alex said that he wants to take some time for himself.
“Everyone that messaged me about coming out to their families, such an amazing thing that you’ve done, and I’m happy that I was able to be a part of that,” he said in a video on his Instagram page.
“To everyone who’s been telling me that they haven’t done it yet, please take your time,” he said.
Alex reminded those who may be struggling to come out that there’s no rush and pressure in revealing one’s identity.
“Just know that from personal experience, it literally is like a blanket of drama and uncertainty was pulled back from my life. Take it at your own time,” Alex added.
He is currently in Canada with his relatives. The singer/actor also said that he still has to work because of his client commitments.
“Here’s to being better than before soon – in mind, body, and in spirit. Cheers,” Alex said.
