Samantha Lo thanks supporters in her Miss Grand International 2019 journey

Miss Grand International Philippines Samantha Lo has posted on her Instagram account following her loss in Venezuela.

Lo failed to enter the pageant’s Top 20 round despite all her efforts to join the pageant.

Lo began by saying that there are a lot of people who knew what exactly happened to her on her way to the Miss Grand International pageant.

“It is safe to say that thousands know the story of what happened to me along my journey to the crown but only a handful know the thoughts and feelings I experience every day,” she said.

“The fear that someone is going to take me and the thought that ‘I am a failure’ are the two most common uninvited guests that love to show up frequently during the day.” she added.

Lo expressed her gratitude who continued to support her despite of what she’d been through.

“But there was a new guest that showed up, and they showed up by the hundreds of thousands. Physical people, from around the world, warmly embracing me with words of kindness. Letting me know that I am not doing this alone, that I am loved, and I have inspired, that I am special,” she said.

“To these people I want to say thank you for your love and compassion, you have inspired me to keep fighting. I am the product of your butterfly effect, Lo explained.

She also thanked all the organizations and people who made her journey Philippines. She also thanked Binibining Pilipinas Charities Incorporated for the opportunity to represent the country.

“To Madam Stella Araneta, thank you for trusting me to carry the title of Binibining Pilipinas Grand International, for seeing my potential to perform in this competition,” she said.

Lo made headlines after she was deported back to the country from Paris due to her alleged fake passport.

The BPCI said in a statement they tried helping Lo but she suddenly became unreachable.

They also claimed that Lo used a passport which was processed through a ‘fixer’.
