Kapuso hunk Derek Ramsay has warned his followers that a scammer has been using his name to invite women to a private party.
Derek said the scam has been going on for quite some time but the scammer continues to victimize women.
On his Instagram account, the Kapuso hunk shared a screenshot of Jamila Castilo’s post on Facebook last September 9 which showed that the scammer was posing as herself and asked her friends if they are willing to attend a stag party for Derek.
To clear the air, Derek wrote: “Hey guys this crap has been going around for years and it still hasn’t stopped!!! Pls know that I have nothing to do with this person texting these things. If you have any info about this person pls dm me.”
Derek said he has nothing to do with the scam and appealed to the public to be vigilant and report any similar schemes to them or to authorities. (TN)
