The Barretto family war is far from over and this time netizens’ attention shift their focus on Gretchen Barretto and her niece Nicole.
Reports last week said that Gretchen allegedly stopped Nicole’s attempt to slap her during the wake of their patriarch, Miguel Barretto.
In a series of messages circulating online, Nicole denied this rumor and said that she only assisted her aunt to move to another place because of the tension with Gretchen and sister Marjorie.
In a message thread, Nicole responded to a netizen named @bashing.shing and accused her aunt of stealing her boyfriend businessman Atong Ang.
“I just want to inform you that I wasn’t thrown to the states. I was there to move on from what Gretchen and Atong to me. I’m stating the fact that my own aunt stole my boyfriend,” Nicole explained.
On her Instagram account, Gretchen responded on her stories and said that it was Nicole who stole Atong from her sister Claudine.
Nicole also denied that she attacked her aunt Gretchen.
“I did not attack her. She and her boyfriend attacked my aunt, and I carried her to the other side so that she won’t hurt tita marj. She kicked me countless times and even after I got away and was about to exit the chapel, she sprinted to me and pulled my hair so hard I almost fell to the floor. If somebody did not catch me, my skull would’ve have been broken,” Nicole wrote.
Gretchen did not directly answer this but revealed that Nicole was ‘sold’ by her mom to the businessman.
Gretchen added that Nicole clearly wanted to hurt her.
“You wanted to hurt me, not protect Marjorie. Don’t fool yourself. You just gave birth & have a boyfriend & yet, hinahabol mo pa cliente mong si Atong.”
