Sharon Cuneta experienced shopping ‘discrimination’ in Hong Kong thrice

After Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez’ revelation that she had experienced being discriminated against while shopping at a Louis Vuitton store, Megastar Sharon Cuneta said that she also experienced it in Hong Kong.

In an interview with Tonight Boy Abunda, Cuneta said that she was discriminated not once but thrice while shopping abroad.

The OPM icon recalled that she had experienced discrimination whole shopping in Hong Kong in a Cartier branch.

Cartier is a French brand of watches and jewelry stores.

Cuneta remembered when she entered the boutique and dressed too ‘simple’ and ‘plain’ at the store.

“I said, ‘Excuse me. I’m not finished yet!’ I was so angry, there was another sales rep who was very nice, and I ended up buying things I didn’t really need because I was so angry,” Cuneta said.

“Ako, galit ako ‘pag Pilipino, inaapi,” she added.

The megastar also weighed in on celebrities showing their luxury items online. Oftentimes celebrities drew flak for showcasing their expensive stuff.

“No one can fault you for buying something expensive, because you worked for it,” Cuneta explained.

  1. That’s their strategy you clueless mega… you bought more because you felt you were mistreated so you ended buying just to show her off when in deed you gave her more comissions from the sale.
