Tawag ng Tanghalan viewers were reminded last week about Ethel Booba’s great singing skills.
The comedian made a name for her brand of comedy and viral tweets but some people might forget that Ethel is an award-winning singer too.
Ethel was among the contestants on the All Star version of Tawag ng Tanghalan last week. She performed and nailed the song “Help” by The Beetles.
Dulce was impressed with Ethel’s performance and told her to give time to her singing career.
“God’s gift to you is singing, the gift of voice. Alam ko na hindi mo maiwasang mag-comedy, kasi natural kang comedian talaga. Pero, ang prayer ko, bumalik ka doon sa serious singing mo,” Dulce said.
Coincidentally, Dulce was also the judge of defunct singing contest ‘Sing Galing’ where Ethel emerged as Grand Champion.
“Gusto ko talagang seryosohin mo ‘yung pagkanta mo, kasi ako, nanghihinayang ako… Mas bigyan mo pa ng time, kasi ang galing-galing mo,” Dulce added.
