Alex Gonzaga reveals she almost left showbiz

Despite her huge success on the world of vlogging, Alex Gonzaga has revealed that there was a point in her life when she almost left show business.

Alex recalled a time in 2015 when she doubted herself and became financially dependent on her sister Toni.

She also said that there was a point when TV executives don’t like her.

When she returned on ABS-CBN in 2013, Alex decided to venture on the world of vlogging.

“Sabi ko, ‘Okay, I’ll just be happy. Inisip ko na if it’s gonna be the end of my career on TV, I’m gonna focus na on YouTube,” she said.

Alex’s first video in 2017 garnered 2 million views which prompter her to do more vlogs.

Today, Alex has 4.5 million subscribers with almost 300 million views in total.

“Dapat you have to do something that you love. The money will follow if you love what you’re doing,” she said.
