Vice Ganda on competing with Eat Bulaga: ‘It’s a humbling experience’

Vice Ganda admits that 2015 and 2016 proved to be the most challenging years for the Kapamilya noontime show,“It’s Showtime,” which is now celebrating its 10th anniversary.

Those years were at the height of the phenomenal love team “AlDub” or Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza also known as Yaya Dub.

But through the singing competition, “Tawag ng Tanghalan,” the noontime show was able to bounce back in terms of ratings.

“Masaya. It was a humbling experience. It was a learning experience,” Vice said.

Vice said that the challenges they’ve been through in the noontime show taught them that life is full of surprises and no one stays on top forever.
