Patricia Javier chose to compete Noble Queen of the Universe in Manila rather than in Mrs. Universe pageant in China.
The reigning Mrs. Universe Finest Woman Philippines said she would miss spending Christmas and New Year with her husband and children if she pushes through with competing as Philippine to Mrs. Universe, according to showbiz news site Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP).
She said this will also mean cancelling their long planned holiday season vacation in San Diego, California.
The Mrs Universe 2019 pageant will be held in Guangzhou, China and the contest will run from December 21, 2019 til January 1, 2020.
The former That’s Entertainment member Charo Laude, reigning Mrs. Asia, will be replace Patricia and will be the offical representative of the Philippines to Mrs. Universe 2019.
The Noble Queen of the Universe pageant will be held at the Manila Hotel.
“So I had to make my family my priority and begged off sa Mrs. Universe and chose to join Noble Queen of the Universe Pageant instead, na ang contest dates will be from November 26 to December 1, 2019 kaya walang conflict sa planned vacation namin ng family ko,” Javier said in a separate interview with Journal group.
