Even celebrities aren’t safe from online scammers.
Comedy Queen Aiai delas Alas recently took to Instagram to rant about two online scammers that victimized both her children, Sancho and Sophia on their transactions.
Sancho sold a watch but eventually found out that the person he transacted with gave him an envelope that contained nothing but paper.
Sophia, on the other hand, sent money to an online contact on Twitter for a ticket for Cha Eun Woo’s first fan meeting in the Philippines but was left hanging and was blocked a few hours after.
Aiai posted the photo of Sancho’s scammer as well as the conversations that Sophia had with her scammer and warned netizens to be wary of their online transactions.
“makuha nyo man yan d nyo din yan mapapakinabangan kasi walang masamang gawain ang nag wawagi .. at sinabihan ko din mga anak ko wag masyadong mag tiwala sa mga tao ngayun kasi madaming ng masamang tao na mga pinsan o kapatid ng KALABAN ni Lord … maging aral na lang ito sa kanila at satin na mag ingat sa mga online sellers and buyers,” said Aiai.
