Angel Locsin’s ‘The General’s Daughter’ has ended and it was filled with action-packed scenes and stunts.
In a photo shared by Eric John Salut on Twitter, Angel Locsin was seen at the back of a truck, shooting a scene for the primetime series.
Maja Salvador, who is the lead star in the teleserye ‘The Killer Bride’, saw it and shared the photo with a caption mentioning ‘Darna’, Angel’s iconic superheroine role.
Twitter users couldn’t agree more and said that Angel’s Darna is irreplaceable.
Angel saw Maja’s tweet and reminded the actress of their previous TV drama ‘The Legal Wife’.
“Rhian Bonifacio po reporting for duty Madam Killer Bride ☺️Hindi mo ba ako natatandaan, Nicole? Ako ang Legal Wife,” Angel said.
Angel was supposed to reprise her role as Darna in 2014 in a movie but backed out due to a spine problem.
Liza Soberano took over the role but has decided to let go of the role as well because of a finger injury.
This year, the Pinay superhero role went to a newbie actress Jane De Leon.
