“Fake news.” — Gary Valenciano warns about videos saying Gab is dead

Gary Valenciano took to social media his warning against a fake video that circulated online which said that his son Gab is already dead.

“THERE IS NO TRUTH TO ANY OF THIS!!!”Valenciano wrote on his Instagram account.

The veteran singer and performer said the fake news clip is not ABS-CBN News’ fault as the network has allegedly been a consistent victim of fake news.

“This isn’t the fault of ABS CBN News. It looks like even they were a victim of this. It’s TOTALLY FAKE!!! A news clip about another issue was used and Gab’s face was simply added on to the clip. Please do not believe such news immediately!!! God bless,” Valenciano added.

Last week, Gab opened up about his attempts to take his own life due to severe depression. He even shared some photos showing that he almost jumped off from his condominium building.

“Hanging from the 22nd floor of a condominium, deliberately hurting myself and substance abuse could have been the end of my story, but I believe that my failed attempts had a greater calling, and that calling is to reach out and help as many people as I can who are struggling with mental health issues, through empathy and compassion,” Gab said.
