‘Ganyan kahirap ang buhay’: Willie Revillame commends sacrifices of two Pinay domestic helpers bound for Saudi

‘Wowowin’ host Willie Revillame was touched by the stories of sacrifices of his two audience members during the September 6 episode of his daily TV show.

Kuya Wil noticed Imee Santos and Emily Cruz who are both Overseas Filipino Workers in Saudi Arabia, sitting with a group of people who came all the way from Zamboanga.

“Mga OFW po kami, paalis na kami bukas, matagal na namin gusto kayong mapanood Kuya Wil,” one of the OFWs said.

The TV host said that he was touched by the gesture of the two OFW so he immediately gave them two jackets – a trademark of Revillame’s show.

He later on asked if they had any money to leave to their kids after knowing that one of them has 5 children while the other OFW has one.

Both OFWs said that they don’t have any money left and turned emotional.

Revillame then gave Php5,000 each and told the two to take care abroad. He later found out that the two will work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as domestic helpers for two years.

“Kita niyo ho, iiwan nila ang mga anak nila ng dalawang taon para mag-alaga ng anak ng iba, ganyan ang hirap ng buhay,” Revillame added.
