Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. took to Twitter his admiration for actor Alden Richards.
Locsin said this as he retweeted a story from GMA News on his recent success with the movie, “Hello Love, Goodbye”.
The tweet says Richards’ movie with co-star Kathryn Bernardo is now considered as the highest-grossing Philippine movie of all time.
“I came across him once. He was shy and modest. And now look at this. No one deserves it more,” Locsin said on his tweet on Sept. 4.
A Twitter user with the handle @mamahaydee urged Locsin to watch the movie.
Locsin promised he will watch it.
“I will. I owe him that much. Not often you see one who has all but acts as humbly as though he hadn’t any of it,” he said.
He further tweeted that there was another actor whom he admired for having a similar character with that of Richards.
“Only other one like that is my idol Robin Padilla who has the well-merited self-confidence to make fun of himself while having a great deal of fun of it.”
On Friday, Locsin really did make true of his promise to watch Richards’ movie.
