‘Sintunado ako.’ Anne Curtis responds to a netizen asking her to stop singing

Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis has responded to a netizen who told her to stop singing after she posted a video of her recently concluded “Annekulit” concert in Davao City on Friday.

“You should really stop singing Ann. I mean you’re very good at acting but sorry to say singing is not for you. Just being honest,” a netizen posted on her Instagram video.

The comment caught the star’s attention and posted a very long response.

“I will continue to sing because I love it. I am aware that I am not a singer and in fact the whole country has known this throughout my whole career. I never claimed I was. I’m actually vocal na sintunado ako,” she said.

Curtis told the netizen that her singing abilities, although still not at par with today’s singers, has improved through the years.

“Although nag-improve na ako throughout the years in fairness to me. Haha. The concerts I do are for pure entertainment AND the people who buy tickets and attend my concerts go KNOWING WHAT TO EXPECT. They know they aren’t going to hear a beautiful voice but I do promise them a night full of fun and laughter and that’s why I continue to do what I do, because I know I am able to make people happy,” Curtis added.

The ‘Just a Stranger’ star also said that her ‘ANNEKulit’ concert maybe over but she will never stop from singing.

“Soooo, yes this concert is my last tour as it’s title is ANNEkulit. Promise, last na to! But it won’t stop me from singing! If you’re so bothered by my singing unfollow me na lang or turn off the tv when I perform para d ka ma-stress! Salamat po! Happy weekend! And thank you for complimenting my acting po!” she ended.

Curtis is one of the most followed celebrities in the Philippines.
