Enjoy Tekla’s wholesome comedic punchlines, acts in Dubai

One thing that Filipinos are known for is their smile and capability to laugh through even the toughest trials of their lives. This is why comedians like Super Tekla in the Philippines bring with them unparalleled joy and good times with the crowd that they’re engaged with – and soon, Dubai OFWs and expats will get to see him perform live here in the UAE!

The concert and variety show, titled “Aegis & Tekla, Live in Dubai” will see one of the Philippines’ most prominent comedians in the entertainment scene today to showcase his comedic antics and knacks for the crowd to enjoy. Tekla will be joined by 90s OPM band, Aegis, in a one-night-only show to be held this coming October 17, 2019 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Organized by Evolution Events, the show centers on the theme ‘Kantahan, Yugyugan at Tawanan’ that will surely bring fun-filled entertainment that Filipinos love – music, laughter, and tons of pure enjoyment. Official media partners of the event are The Filipino Times, The Filipino Channel, and TAG 91.1.

Tekla rose to prominence with his stint as a host for GMA’s variety show, ‘Wowowin’ that featured his unique talent to make people laugh with his stories drawn from his experiences in life that people can easily relate to. Tekla has since been signed by GMA Artist Center as one of their talents, appearing in several shows on the said network.

Today, he hosts the web and TV show ‘The Boobay and Tekla Show’ with fellow comedian Boobay that has since gathered millions of views all over the internet.

Gates for “Aegis & Tekla, Live in Dubai” will open 6:00 pm. The concert begins from 8:30 pm. Tickets will be available soon at www.tickethunter.com
