‘The General’s Daughter’ star Angel Locsin has clarified her recent Instagram story with a child with a caption ‘kwentong barbero’.
Netizens quickly linked her post with Julia Barretto, who recently aired her side of the story involving her to Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo break up.
Locsin is a known supporter of Alonzo amid the controversy hounding the actress.
“The world doesn’t revolve around certain issues. I would never use a child to convey something negative,” Locsin said.
Despite her clarification on this issue, netizens continue to fit the two actress against each other using memes.
Netizens also likened the “love triangle” between Bea, Gerald and Julia to what happened to Loscin, her ex-boyfriend Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola.
Barretto accused Alonzo for encouraging a culture of hate by purposely liking harmless photos and putting malice into the minds of many people.
“You are a woman of great influence and following. You could have used that power to promote strength and grace in women. This is downright bullying,” Barretto said.
“You can play the victim all you want, but I refuse to be your victim,” she added.
