Alden Richards thanks ABS-CBN Executives, Cathy Garcia-Molina for film opportunity

Kapuso actor Alden Richards has nothing but good words for blockbuster director Cathy Garcia Molina and ABS-CBN executives including Olivia Lamasan and Carmi Raymundo for the opportunity to do a movie with Star Cinema.

“If not because of them, I wouldn’t have been given the opportunity to play the role of Ethan @carmiraymundo. Thank you Direk Cathy, Inang Olivia Lamasan and Carms for considering me. Pictured here is the first time we all met…what an amazing journey. Mahal ko po kayo. #HelloLoveGoodbye,” Alden said in an Instagram post.

Alden is paired with Kapamilya leading lady Kathryn Bernardo in the film ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’.

The two of them played the roles of Overseas Filipina Workers (OFWs) in Hong Kong.

Alden admitted that he needed to lose extra weight in order to meet the demands of his character and to fit the role.

Alden is currently one of the regular hosts of GMA 7’s noontime show Eat Bulaga who shot to fame with the ‘Aldub’ tandem together with Maine Mendoza.

Kathryn on the other hand is part of ABS-CBN’s ‘KathNiel’ with onscreen partner and boyfriend, Daniel Padilla.
